Anyone who wants to learn to play the harmonica well is at some point going to have to deal with the fact that the vocal tract of the player is an essential part of the instrument. How well a particular harmonica plays is dependent on how well the elements, player, vocal tract and machine, harmonize with one another.
It's important to learn to understand the way in which the individual playing style dictates how the harmonica needs to be set up, and vice versa, how the set-up of the harmonica affects playing style.
