Congratulations to Freedman 2014 winner Aaron Choulai

After a night of amazing music, the winner of the Freedman Fellowships was selected. Congratulations Aaron Choulai. At the age of 21 his first CD Place, was described by Paul Grabowsky as "A milestone in Australian jazz". Tokyo-based pianist Aaron Choulai received the Japanese Ministry of Education ‘mombushou’ Scholarship to study at the Tokyo College of the Arts (2009 – 2013).
